SPEC Innovations Now Represents OTTO Controls in India

SPEC Innovations LLP joins the OTTO worldwide sales network. 

OTTO Controls has added SPEC Innovations LLP to its worldwide sales network, covering all of India. MIL/Aero is SPEC’s strongest target market, offering a significant growth opportunity for OTTO Controls, followed by industrial controls, medical and other specialty areas.

“We see a huge and immense market potential for OTTO basic switches, joysticks and grips in the Indian market, especially for defense and aerospace applications,” says SPEC General Manager Venkatesan Balakrishnan. The Government of India is promoting new defense procurement policies, which have led to many multi-national defense and aerospace companies partnering with Indian manufacturers under its Made in India initiative. This will continue to fuel demand for OTTO products, he explains.  

The government is also focused on building multi-nodal infrastructure, such as highways, seaports, airports and high-speed railways, across the country. OTTO Controls’ solutions are a great fit for construction and rail equipment and other systems to support these applications.
